FAQ

Why does the actual number of cups fall short of the setting?

Larger coffee beans take up more space, so they yield less coffee powder when ground. Likewise, the coarser the grind you select, the more cups you can produce from the same amount of beans.

Why does the grinder get louder with a finer setting?

When set to a finer grind, the burrs are closer together, which increases grinding time and produces more noise. However, this results in coffee grounds that are finer and more uniform.

Why doesn't the grinder start after pressing the power button?

1. The grinder head or coffee bean hopper may not be installed correctly. Please make sure all parts are properly assembled.

2. The power button may not be pressed firmly enough. Press and hold the button until the switch spring is fully engaged.

Why does the grinder suddenly stop during operation?

The Lonkion flat burr grinder is equipped with an overheat protection system. If the motor becomes too hot during use, the grinder will automatically shut off to protect the machine. Allow it to cool down for about 10 minutes before restarting.
